First of a series of videos where the content of a particular Self-Help book is the source material. Stop Thinking, Start Living, by R. Carlson, Ph.D is read aloud, recorded, and re-interpreted by voice recognition software, creating the subtitles. Voice of Adam Farlie, animation by Mirjam Linschooten and Olivier Campagne.
In relation to the anti-Freudian perspective of the book, the soundtrack is made from a sequence of errors and glitches by the voice reading the text of the book. The therapy promoted here is referred to as “Psychology Of Mind” (POM), which makes one wonder: is there any other kind?
